Château Thieuley

The Château Thieuley rosé wine comes as the best of the jewels of the Bordeaux appellation.

Blend :
70% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot
Terroir : Clay and gravelous soils
Alcohol level : 12.5 %

Vinification :
Direct press under nitrogen. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tank. Ageing on lies for 2 months in tanks.

Tasting Notes :
Pale pink robe. The fine nose is evocative of citrus fruit, as well as a very fresh hints of anise. On airing, the nose progresses to white flowers. Full bodied in the mouth, the sharp texture makes this rosé very elegant and long-tasting.

Food Pairing :
Aperitif gazpacho, mackerel pâté or marinated anchovies, paella, grilled fish, cod fritters, a shrimp and avocado salad, prawns and chorizo, a green bean salad or a homemade lasagne, strawberry soup.
