Winemaking Process
The 2020 Meerlust Red underwent a meticulous winemaking process. Each variety was fermented separately before undergoing malolactic fermentation in 300L barrels and large Foudré.

After 8 months in oak, the components were blended and returned to barrels for another 8 months of maturation, allowing the flavors to harmonize before bottling.

Tasting Notes
The wine presents a youthful, deep garnet red color. The nose is bursting with red fruit, complemented by hints of spice and gentle oak.

On the palate, it’s full-bodied and structured, with fresh, vibrant fruit and smooth, well-rounded tannins that create a balanced, approachable wine.
